Audio Visual Sales Consultant

Are you a bit of a geek when it comes to audio visual technology?  Could you help clients to plan amazing events as an AV specialist?
 
THE COMPANY
We are one of NZ’s leading providers of audio visual technology and project design of AV services for events, concerts, awards nights, product launches, seminars, AGMs, and conferences.  With many years experience in this area, and strong established relationships with conference venues and some of NZ’s biggest companies and promoters, this is a company you can be very proud to be a part of.
 
THE POSITION
You will work with the Director to drive revenue growth and profit margins through outstanding service to existing clients, and strategic business development activities.  This role is quite autonomous, and will involve you being a ‘trusted adviser’ – consulting to clients regarding their AV needs, and helping to make their event as amazing as they can imagine!
 
REMUNERATION
You will be given a generous base salary, laptop, and mobile phone.  The commission structure is open-ended and geared to reward over-achievement.  Potential earnings could top $100,000 if you’re driven and successful.
 
THE PREREQUISITES
  • You must have at least 5 years successful sales experience – with consistent over-achievement of targets
  • You must have very strong AV skills – a background in project design is advantageous, though not strictly essential
  • You must be entirely self-motivated and driven to succeed – with a boundless work ethic and limitless energy
  • You will need to be accustomed to providing regular, accurate sales and GP reporting using either Excel or  PowerPoint – or possibly a CRM program
  • You must be a fluent speaker and writer of English

Senior Technician/Technical Director


For this role, we're looking for an exceptional leader who can head up our experienced technical team in the field.  You'll have had years of experience in audio visual production,


Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years or more experience in the Audio Visual industry
  • At least 2 years at a senior level
  • Excellent knowledge of high-end vision systems, intelligent lighting and audio
  • Be currently working in the AV industry, or if recent immigrant to New Zealand, have been absent from the industry for no longer than 12 months *

  • High level of maturity
  • Able to organise and lead a team of experienced technicians
  • Attention to detail
  • Focused on delivering an exceptional end product
  • HT Licence would be an advantage
