Sales and Account Manager

This is a busy role for a technical account manager with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.  This is not a role for the meek and mild!  The successful candidate will be dealing with corporates, tour managers, professional conference organisers and our industry partners, following up on new sales opportunities and farming our expansive client base.

You'll need a strong technical background to hit the ground running in this role, which means hands-on experience with camera systems, vision equipment, lighting and audio is a must. 

The title of your last role is not as important as your experience and ability, as is your ability to communicate effectively with both technicians and corporates alike.

We should stress, this is not cubicle land.  At Mirage, you'll have the space to express your individuality, while furthering your corporate career through regular contact with high-level decision-makers.  You'll stretch your creative abilities finding unique solutions for each event, and enjoy a high degree of autonomy, while still being part of a tight-knit team with the passion to succeed.

Minimum requirements
  • Experience selling or account managing in a technical field
  • Technical experience at some level in the audio visual industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly favoured
  • Experience in creative technical production
  • A background in event design
  • Energy and passion for all things vision
  • A general understanding of all production design elements (lighting, sound, vision, video production & multimedia) and an excellent understanding of vision and camera systems
