For the Halo 3 launch, games and vouchers were suspended in a mammoth block of ice placed at the heart of Britomart in Auckland city.

Lit in the glowing blues of the Halo 3 logo, fans of the game were tantalised by the ever-increasing chances of snatching a prize from the melting ice as the evening wore on.
